E-Discovery Services

In E Discovery Litigation Support there are two types of file extraction – Native Files and TIFF Files. Native files will extract all emails and attachments in their native format (.doc, .jpeg, .xls etc) and include the indexing and metadata. TIFF Files are actual digital “prints” of the documents.

Native File Extraction

Native file extraction will expand both the emails and the attached files of any PST file. Native file extraction will make available the file AND the indexing and metadata. Native file extraction will allow you to view the documents in a software viewer like Concordance. You can “tag” files that he/she will want “tiffed”. The file will then be brought back to AIR Graphics , loaded into the system and only the tagged files are “tiffed out”.

Tiff File Extraction

Tiff File Extraction will electronically “print” all images to a TIFF file. This file is a static “picture” of the image – email, Word doc, Excel spreadsheet JPEG image or whatever files and attachments are included in the PST file.

A Word about Quotes

Our E Discovery software tool will generate a Discovery Report that will provide an estimated number of pages and an estimated number of gigs that are included in a file. This quote is very accurate in relation to the actual final cost of E Discovery. This quote can only be generated if AIR Graphics procures the actual PST and runs the report.

We can give a “ball park” quote, but it is just that – a “guesstimate”. Given the “compressed” size of an Outlook PST file, AIR Graphics  can quote an estimated gigabyte size (usually we calculate 1.5 expansion of compressed data) and quote a “per gigabyte” cost. AIR Graphics  will quote any firm a per gig price with a guarantee of not charging more than 200% of the compressed files size.
